Loss of bearing capacity of structural elements, damage to anchorage sites for various reasons – structural errors, mistakes made during construction or technical work (assembly and dismantling, violation of technology regulations), ageing of building materials, non-compliance with regulations for the operation of buildings and structures, fire exposure, effects of natural disasters (earthquake, floods, hurricane, rain, snow, hail, landslide, etc.), explosions and other influencing factors.

In rescue operations related to the collapse of the building, the State Fire and Rescue Service has 11 specialised rescue cars equipped with the necessary equipment and equipment specific to the search for victims.
