When you call 112, you can call:
- firefighters rescuers;
- the medical team of the Emergency medical Service;
- police officers;
- emergency services of the joint stock company Gasso.
Can I call the 112 contact centre of Latvia while outside Latvia?
If a person is in one of the countries in which the single emergency call number 112 is used, he or she will be connected to the operational service of the particular country instead of the 112 contact centre of Latvia.
In situations when a person who is outside Latvia learns that a person in Latvia needs the assistance of the operational services, it is recommended to contact another person residing in the territory of Latvia (for example, a relative, a friend) who could be asked for assistance to call the 112 contact centre and inform about the need to rush to help.
